we had a double room with exceptionally comfortable bed and central heating, an electronic key card and a tv. the bathroom was fairly clean with a bath. the location was marvellous, for example, a grand roman gateway was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.

Spacious rooms with a nice balcony to chill on, plus a cute bathroom with fluffy towels 🌿. They've got breakfast options for veggies too.

The hotel was clean and comfortable - even luxurious. It's location is great - close to the train station and right next to Roman ruins. Many nice restaurants nearby.

The location is great and fantastic, within walking distance of a Roman amphitheatre. It is in a beautiful area close to the Porta Nigra bus stop, the central station, and the famous Porta Nigra and the pedestrian zone.

The location of this hotel was just perfect, steps from the famous Porta Nigra. Very convenient to stay here and tour the city, close to the tourist office and most of Trier's tourist spots. The receptionist allowed us to check in early, very nice! The beds were very comfy, has a fridge in the room. Love the big bathroom, especially the spacious sink where we're able to put our stuff. We had a good night sleep. Breafast has lots of choices, this hotel has a nice restaurant too. If we come back to Trier, we'd stay at this hotel again!!

Rooms were spartan but hotel itself was very charming. Wonderful restaurant. We enjoyed a terrific gourmet meal in the dining room with very attentive wait staff. Breakfast was tremendous and included in our room rate. Given the hotel was right at the Porta Nigra, the location was fabulous allowing us to tour Trier quite easily in the short time we had. Great value overall.
As I remember our arrival was not warm -- very brusque and difficult to get information about parking our car.
